Khoi,

Thanks for asking. Multitasking, always. I listen on the train, or more often at home when I'm puttering around doing other things, or while working out. I pretty much gave up television and cut back on reading for the last several months. In some cases, I fast-forward through ads. There tends to be a lot of filler in these shows, so if something grabs my attention, I don't typically pause or rewind. I treat it more like radio, or streaming audio. I can't be a completist about it. But one reason I have decided to stop making notes here on the blog, or finding new ones, is that it has really started to eat into my time. It became an obsessive obligation that I doubt could have lasted into warmer weather when I'd rather be riding my bike or something. So I'm going to cut back to a couple of hours of podcasts I really enjoy, and just sample some others periodically. For one thing, I have about 100 hours of backed up shows on my TiVo to deal with, and a stack of books gathering dust.

I'm just curious how you made the time to listen to all of these. I pretty much only consume podcasts while I'm walking the dog (even on my commute, I listen to music so I can read the paper or The New Yorker). Did you actually carve out time while at home? And were you multitasking?
